monday after noon & evening

All is well. The schedule can be odd. Emily is just finishing an hour of inhalation therapy, followed by a crisp 8 lap walk ( just powering along on room air, no O2),then a half hour of percussive therapy This has been the most even of days, no major downs. Even is a good thing
Tomorrow more of the s ame we hope. Still waiting for the air leaks in the new lungs to seal so the tubes can be removd. Patience is good for the time being. More tomorrow, all a wee bit sleepy.

  1. Hi love... hope everything is getting better, sounds like it was a little rocky for a minute. Can't wait til the air leaks seal so that you can get more tubes out!!

Finalize plans for Seattle... my lovely friend Josh said that Emily and I could stay at his place on 11th and Pike. I'll find out from Nicky where you will be then - can't wait!!!!!

Love you, Em! Keep up the good work. I'll try to catch you online sometime, cause I want to hear all about some exciting visitors that you had...!

All my love to you and Peg, Keith and Nicky...

  3. "Room Air." I like it.

Now what else I love? "Brisk walk."

    Thinking of you a lot.

  4. We'll take "more of the same"!! Same is good. No more "bumps" is good. Stay strong Emily and visualize those air leaks sealing and healing!

How are your "twins" doing with their transplants? What a sight that would be for the docs--three beautifully strong young blond women making their way through the halls hooked up to all that paraphenalia!!! I hope you remain lifelong friends, sharing each others ups and downs, more ups than downs!

Keith, would you post the address of your apartment so we could send some stuff to you and Peg? And so that Em is sure to get the things we send to her?

Looking forward to the next post saying your chest tubes have been removed!!

    love you all,

    Nita
