correction

Okay, so actually today is the 15th, not the 16th and tomorrow is my two month anniversary. So when you read the below posting keep in mind I was having a blond/morphine moment and got confused on what day it is.

  1. Hello Emily, Keith and Peg - We are so glad to hear things are going well for Em. Long road still ahead, but wow - 2 months already! That's just awesome!!
Dave and I saw Ted a week or so ago at the Direction Service Auction in Eugene and got a little update, too. We are going up to Seattle this coming weekend (and Bellingham, too) to help with the rehearsal wedding plans for Mac and Jenny's August wedding. Sounds like you are pretty tired right now, Emily, so don't know if you are up for any visiting. We can check in with you, if you'd like, on Sunday, April 19th and see how you're feeling. I was back in DC with Grace and Benson and their baby girl, Lucienne, about 2 weeks ago. The baby had some sort of killer virus, which really got me when I got back. Now I'm fine - but I can imagine how pooped out you must feel if it was a similar strain. I don't have your cell phone number - so please email it to dudafunk@gmail.com or call us if it's convenient. We'd all love to see you!! Dave's cell 541-953-0812. Mac and Jenny live on NW 45th, so I don't think it's too far from where you guys are. Love, Duane

  2. Thanks for the update, Emily! We are still there with you in spirit and praying all the while. You hang in there and sleep as much as you can. We love you and Peg and Keith!

  3. Emily, Keith, & Peg:

Just writing to let you know that you are in our thoughts--basically every time I drive by your house I think about you all and hope that things are going well. Chris

  4. Emily, Thanks so much for the update. We're thankful that the hole in the diaphragm has been diagnosed, & that your liver will be "re-juvinated". We hope & pray it relieves your pain. You are so very special! I know you'll pull through this operation much healthier!! We're with you in this, Emily!!
